Rick Caro is a 35+ year veteran of the club industry and was the Founder, Past President and Director of IHRSA. He was the previous owner of an eight-club organization of multi-sport clubs in the Northeast United States, which he successfully sold in 1983. He was also the previous Chairman of Spectrum Clubs, Inc., a leading club ownership company that became the 10th largest club company in the United States after only six months - with over $60 million of revenue and two major club clusters in Texas and California. Over the last seven years, Caro has consulted to over 1,300 clubs. He is a well-known lecturer, is a frequent writer for various trade publications, and is the author of the book, Financial Management, which is targeted to the club industry.
