The late Ray Irwin (The Step Company) created and patented The Original Step in 1989. Ray purchased the equipment division in 2005 and under the name Step Fitness & Recreation, Inc. has continued to provide equipment to health clubs, fitness facilities and individuals in the U.S., Canada and around the world. Ray truly lived and breathed promoting a healthy fitness lifestyle!
Over the past 31 years, Ray added new products and made several improvements. We believe that The Original Step with New Universal Risers and our Step Fitness Weights Sets are our best products ever!
